Mario Luzi Public Library, opened in 2014, is in the district of Campo di Marte. It is spread over two floors in a single open space with ‘Agora’ in the center, a space where lectures, cultural meetings are held and where there is a wooden chessboard with large chess pieces available to play. It has 150 seats for reading and study. The library is named after Mario Luzi, a great 20th-century Italian poet, residing in the district. It organizes cultural gatherings, such as book presentations, meetings with authors and illustrators, readings aloud, lectures and seminars.
